School Counselors have the opportunity to be in contact with students in different ways including Classroom, Small group, and Individual counseling sessions. Counselors are available to parents to provide consultation and/or referrals
if necessary. Please feel free to contact your school counselor with any questions or concerns about your child or the school counseling program.If a student meets with the school counselor, it does not mean that the student is in trouble!How can a student meet with a school counselor?
- Parents/Guardians may request their child see the counselor
- A staff member may refer a student to the counselor
- The counselor may invite your child to talk
- Your child may request to talk with the counselor

The 2023-2024 school year will be my 18th year as a licensed professional school counselor.I started my collegiate career by first attending Cuyahoga Community College Western Campus, where I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree. I then moved on to Baldwin-Wallace University where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in Communications. After graduation from Baldwin-Wallace, I immediately entered the school counseling graduate program at Cleveland State University where I graduated with my Master's of Education in Counselor Education.As a licensed school counselor, I am qualified to work with students in the K-12 school setting. As a school counselor, I want to help to provide students with the most effective learning environment possible. I am here to help in any way that I can.
Outside of work
Things that I enjoy doing outside of work are spending time with my family. My hobbies are; exercise, TV, and watching boxing / college football / NFL. I am also an avid NFL draft fan. My favorite sports teams are the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns.
