A Little Information about College Now:
We at College Now are pleased to assist you with your college financial aid and scholarship planning. For over 40 years, College Now has been providing college access advising, financial aid counseling, and scholarship services to the Greater Cleveland area. The College Now Advisor will be able to help you with the following:
- Provide assistance in filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the CSS Profile (if needed),
- Aid in the exploration of available financial aid resources for college, including scholarships, federal loans, work-study, and private loans.
- Provide waivers for college application fees or SAT/ACT tests if the family meets College Now financial guidelines.
- Interpret Student Aid Reports and evaluate college financial aid award letters.
- Recommend seniors for scholarships administered by College Now (must meet GPA, ACT/SAT test score, and income
- guidelines).
Items to get started on/and or to remember:- Complete your CSS Profile at www.collegeboard.com (http://www.collegeboard.com/) if you are required to file it
- File your FAFSA (fafsa.gov) by February 15 to be eligible for College Now and other university/college scholarships. Income taxes do NOT have to be completed in order to file (Estimate taxes for FAFSA by using your 2021 tax return).
