Have a Concern About Your Child's Development?

  • Most children progress and gain skills in predictable patterns marked by developmental milestones. For example, speaking a first word around 12 months or 50 words at 24 months. A delay in one or more developmental milestones may be a cause for concern. If you, your child's teacher, or pediatrician suspects your 3, 4, or 5 year old child may have a delay in one or more of the following areas:

    • Fine motor
    • Gross motor
    • Cognition
    • Social-emotional
    • Communication
    • Adaptive/self-help
    • Vision/hearing
