Each fall, the College Board offers the PSAT/NMSQT to college-bound juniors. Berea-Midpark HS typically allows sophomores in advanced/honors classes to also take this test. There is no charge for the test, and students are not required to take it. Registration is done through classroom visits. Juniors who place in the top 1% nationally are eligible to compete in the National Merit Scholarship program.
The test for the 2021-2022 school year is on October 13, 2022. Students who signed up through the google form at school will be asked to arrive at the gym at 7:00 that morning to get set up for the test.
