• Each fall, the College Board offers the PSAT/NMSQT to college-bound juniors.  Berea-Midpark HS typically allows sophomores in advanced/honors classes to also take this test.  There is no charge for the test, and students are not required to take it.  Registration is done through classroom visits.  Juniors who place in the top 1% nationally are eligible to compete in the National Merit Scholarship program.

For the 2020-2021 year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BMHS has chosen to give the test on January 26, 2021.  This is the alternative date the Collge Board has provided.  However, we will only be offering the test to current juniors.  Juniors who are interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT will receive an email with a registration link during the 1st week in November.  This link will also be posted here.
