Commencement Update
Update on Commencement Tickets:
It has been brought to our attention that in order for families to get more tickets for commencement that some families are “producing” counterfeit tickets. Because of this, we have been forced to make the decision to move to electronic tickets like we use for our athletic events. This will ensure each student/family gets their allotted tickets. Each student will still have seven tickets, and they can be retrieved via this link or by visiting the BMHS athletic website and clicking on tickets.
Each passcode (student ID #) will permit seven tickets to be ordered (Your student’s ID number can be found in Infinite Campus by your child’s picture). There is no charge or surcharge/fee for a ticket set for $0.00. Tickets are live on the website and ready to be picked up by families. If you decide to pass on your QR code to additional guests, only the first seven scans of the code will be permitted into commencent. Again, please be respectful of all graduates and guests and make this a memorable event for all.
If you have any specific questions about how to redeem your tickets or your students ID number, please contact the main office at the high school.
Weather and Commencement:
Mother Nature does not appear to be cooperating, but we remain hopeful, we all know how Cleveland weather can be. Unfortunately, the weather outlook does not look good on Thursday or Friday right now. We will continue to monitor the weather and will update everyone on plans as they are finalized. We are doing everything possible to hold commencement as planned on Thursday evening. In the event of unsafe weather, we would consider postponing the start time of commencement to later Thursday evening or moving it to Friday as a last resort. If we are forced to hold commencement on Friday, we would monitor the weather and pick a start time based on the forecast. We may start as early as 5:00pm on Friday. All communication regarding any changes to commencement will be made as soon as possible.
2022 Seniors - See link below for important dates!
Seniors may be exempted from the Spring exams if the following criteria are all met:
1. The senior has no in-school or out of school suspensions;
2. Their attendance must be less than or equal to five (5) days, excused or unexcused, for the entire semester for the class at the time of the exam. School sponsored field trips will not count toward this five (5) day absence;

All of these criteria must be met for a senior to qualify for the exemption. A senior may still take an exam if they so choose.

OLR Annual Update-Important Information for ALL Berea City Schools Families
As a district, we are continuing to use technology to streamline the amount of paperwork that has to be filled out by parents each year. We continue to make great strides toward that goal by using the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to complete an Update annually. Through this Annual Update, parents and guardians will be able to enter Emergency Medical Authorization, update emergency contacts, and other information pertaining to households and students.
Emergency Medical Authorization is collected COMPLETELY through this Update process. Therefore, the ONLY students that will ALSO be required to complete the FINAL FORMS application process will be the athletes applying for sports participation.
It is REQUIRED that parents or guardians complete the Annual Update as soon as possible Or PRIOR TO schedule pickup and the posting of the class lists at the elementary level. (This applies even if you recently enrolled a new student for the upcoming school year during the spring open enrollment for preschool and kindergarten.) IF not completed, elementary students will NOT get their teacher assignment and middle school and high school students will NOT get their schedules. Schedules will not be displayed on the Student or Parent Portal until after schedule pick up.
The Parent Portal can be accessed through the Berea City Schools website (directions below) or by using this link: If you experience issues with logging in, please click icportalsupport and complete the help request form.

Berea-Midpark Alma
Mater
Oh the times that we recall,
When our years as yet were few,
The glory that we share with one and all.
As the days go racing by,
We sing Berea-Midpark High,
Remembering how she watched as strong we grew.
Orange and Blue we’ll always be,
Berea-Midpark Titans loyally.
Until our days at last are few,
We still will praise and honor you,
And sing your songs, Berea-Midpark High.
And sing your songs, Berea-Midpark High.
