PTSA Award Winners!
Katie Street won our "T" in PTA Award - In addition to supporting our students and PTSA through her membership and support of fundraisers, she also significantly impacted the lives of our students by encouraging them and supporting them in submitting their films to the Reflections program.
Dawn Mullenax won our Helping Hands Award - I can't think of a member more deserving as she has served for 2 years as the VP for Post Prom DURING A PANDEMIC!!!

Congratulations! to senior Mary Hiros who received an honorable mention status from the National Center for Women & Information Techology (NCWIT) Award for Aspirations in Computing (AiC). This award honors students with high aspirations, abilities and technical accomplishments in the IT field. Additionally this December Mary earned her Associate of Arts from Tri-C! We are so proud of your accomplishments.
BMHS Students Named Polaris Satellite Students of the Quarter
Dorian Shkembi (Broadcasting & Video Production) and John Ellam (Marketing & Entrepreneurship) were named Polaris Satellite Students of the Quarter. Both worked very hard throughout the first quarter and are well deserving of this recognition. Congratulations!

Ian Taylor Selected as U.S. Youth Observer
Ian Taylor was a representative at the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership seminar. This led Ian to participate in YOUNGA (a global seminar based around networking youth to help brainstorm solutions to world problems). Based on this work, Ian was selected as one of ten students nationwide to participate as United Nations youth observers in the YOUNGA forum. Ian, congratulations on this outstanding accomplishment!
