The Technology Department supports the district in many ways, including the following:

- Purchase of computers and related technology equipment and software
- Integration of technology into the curriculum
- Establishing an environment to encourage creative and independent use of instructional technology
- Promotion of the proper use of technology
- Professional development of staff on technology integration
- Implementation of Makerspaces in all buildings
- Makerspace Courses for students
- Presenting at national, state, and local tech conferences, including FETC, OETC, NEOTech, Google Summit, ESC, Learn21, Brainstorm, & Kent State Design Innovation Hub
