The Technology Department supports the district in the following ways:
- Implementation of strategies to enhance staff and student use of technology
- Purchase of computers and related technology equipment and software
- Integration of technology into the curriculum
- Establishing an environment to encourage creative and independent use of instructional technology
- Promotion of the proper use of technology
- Professional development of staff on technology integration
- Implementation of Makerspaces in all buildings
- Makerspace courses for students
- Presenting at national, state, and local tech conferences, including FETC, OETC, NEOTech, Google Summit, ESC, Learn21, Brainstorm, and Kent State Design Innovation Hub
