Navigating the Digital Landscape: Internet Safety

Technology changes quickly, and it can be challenging for families to keep up. This session will help parents better understand online risks and how to protect children in today’s digital world.

Presenter: Emily Fagan-Zirm, M.A.Ed., Outreach Coordinator, Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. She will share strategies for navigating social media, online gaming, and emerging tools such as generative AI.


Anxiety: Practical Strategies for Parents

This session focuses on understanding anxiety in children and teens, with practical strategies parents can use to support emotional well-being.

Presenters: Lisa Palmison, LPCC, MEd and Phil Palmison, LPCC-S will share ways to recognize anxiety, provide support, and create environments where students feel understood and equipped to manage stress.


Zzzs to As: Supporting Sleep for Student Success

A good night’s sleep is vital for student health, attention, and academic success. This session explores the science of sleep and its impact on children and teens.

Presenter: Stacy Simera, MSSA, LISW-S will explain how sleep needs change by age, what barriers affect rest, and how families can create routines that support healthy sleep habits.
