This office oversees the entire operation of the Berea City School District.
Tracy Wheeler obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education at The Ohio State University. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University, her Principal Licensure from Baldwin Wallace University, and her Superintendent Licensure from Kent State University. During this time, Mrs. Wheeler began her teaching career at Fairfax County Public Schools (Elementary) in Falls Church, Virginia. From there she moved back to Ohio and was hired by Mayfield City Schools as a Middle School ELA/Math Teacher. She then became the Gifted Coordinator/Gifted Intervention Specialist at South Euclid-Lyndhurst City Schools. Tracy spent 15 years at Brunswick City Schools where she held the positions of Gifted Coordinator, Assistant High School Principal, High School Principal, and Assistant Superintendent. She is the first female Superintendent in Berea City School District history and began serving in 2019. She was named one of the 2020 Superintendents to Watch by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA).
