IMPORTANT DATES FOR SENIORS
January 25th Senior Meeting, Panoramic and Jostens Presentation 10:00am
The Josten’s representative will provide students with the information for ordering cap and gowns as well as graduation announcements. Jostens will return Friday, January 28th, Friday, February 4th and Friday, February 11th to take your student’s order during 4th period and Lunch and Learn in the Auditorium Lobby or your student can drop their order off in the Activities Office or you may order online at http://www.jostens.com
February 26th Prom Fashion Show – BMHS Auditorium 7:00pm
This FREE event is open to all students planning on attending Prom. The latest trends in fashion for students from David’s Bridal, American Commodore Tuxedo and Tuxedo Junction will be displayed.
April 25th-May 11th Prom Ticket Sales – BMHS Music Wing
Prom tickets will be on sale during Lunch and Learn (10:45-11:15). You will only be able to purchase your prom ticket if all your school fees including SENIOR DUES are PAID IN FULL. If your guest does not attend BMHS, you must have a completed guest form to purchase their ticket. NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AFTER MAY 11TH. Dates and times for POST PROM ticket sales are forthcoming.
May 2nd-13th AP Testing
Schedule and location for tests will be published in the coming weeks.
May 17th Last Day for Seniors
Please understand that any pranks or damage to the facilities will impact a students’ participation in Prom and Graduation.
May 18-19th Senior Final Exams
All books, materials should be turned in at the designated exam block. Students must stay for the duration of the exam. Exam schedule is forthcoming.
May 19th Senior Scholarship Night 6:30pm
Students receiving recognition at this event will be notified prior to May 19th. Family members are encouraged to attend this celebration of our Seniors in the BMHS Auditorium.
May 20th Senior Prom at Michaud’s Event Center 6:00pm – 11:00pm
Arrival 6:00-7:00pm with dinner being served shortly after 7pm. The Prom is a school sponsored event and all school rules of conduct will apply. These regulations apply to all BMHS students and their guests. Persons suspected of Drug/Alcohol consumption will be denied entrance to the Prom, and there will be no refund of ticket cost. Once students enter Prom, they will not be allowed to leave and return. Each senior, and their guest, must have a ticket to get into Prom. Each senior may bring ONLY one guest to Prom. Any guest who does NOT attend BMHS must have a completed Prom Guest Dance Form turned in when their ticket is purchased.
Michaud’s Event Center: 16808 Pearl Rd., Strongsville, Strongsville, OH
May 21st Post Prom 11:30pm – 3:00am
Arrival 11:30-12:00pm. This is also a school sponsored event and all school rules apply. Activities, food, entertainment and prizes provided by the Post-Prom Parent committee. Students must purchase a ticket to attend this event.
May 26th Senior Awards and Academic Signing 8:00am
Students receiving recognition at this event will be notified prior to May 26th. This event will take place in the BMHS Auditorium.
May 26th Mandatory Commencement Practice 10:00am
Students will assemble in the Main Gym for attendance and instructions. Students must attend this rehearsal to be eligible for participation in the Commencement Ceremony. We must advise that any form of inappropriate behavior may cause the offender to be removed from the practice and excluded from the participation of the commencement ceremony. All school rules are in effect throughout the day.
May 26th Commencement Ceremony 6:00pm
Arrive at BMHS by 5:00pm in your cap and gown. Students will assemble in the main gym for attendance and line up. Each student will be given seven (7) tickets for Commencement. After all graduates have received their tickets, if additional tickets are still needed, you may contact the Activities Office for additional tickets. Graduates attending Commencement will march at Commencement and receive their diploma after the ceremony.
The Graduating Class of 2022 will be honored for their achievements. The seniors have been briefed as to the procedures of the ceremony and expected behavior. Participants understand any behavior that is unacceptable will result in their removal from the graduation ceremony. As a result, the Class of 2022 is asking all parents, relatives, and friends attending the ceremony to respect the dignity of graduation and to act accordingly.
