The original gathering and closing ceremony of Berea-Midpark High School planned for Sunday, June 7, 2020 has been revised. New plans that reflect social distancing guidelines are currently being finalized and will be reviewed for approval by the Cuyahoga County Board of Health. Instead of a formal ceremony, the district will host a community walk-through on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. All attendees participating in the walk-through will be required to wear a mask or facial covering. The number of attendees allowed into the building at once will be limited and the potential for a wait time outside is possible. Please note that the Board of Health may require the district to schedule walk-through appointments. If this is necessary, additional information on how to schedule an appointment will be available on the district website and shared with Cleveland.com.
For those unable to attend the walk-through for various reasons, the district recently filmed a short documentary featuring former longtime teacher, Mr. Gary Croy. This documentary will be available to view online in the coming weeks.
