Berea City School District Announces Administrative Leadership Changes
Mr. Adam Marino has been offered the position of Director of Academic Affairs. Marino most recently served as Principal of Strongsville Middle School. He earned a B.A. from the University of Mount Union in Elementary Education and Psychology. He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University. Mr. Marino also currently teaches graduate level course work through Communicate Institute. Prior to becoming the principal of Strongsville Middle School, he was the principal at Strongsville's Kinsner Elementary School for 5 years. Mr. Marino was a teacher for 8 years at both the elementary and middle school levels. He also served as an Assistant Principal at Strongsville High School and Center Middle School. Pending board approval, Mr. Marino will replace Mrs. Karen Frimel. Frimel, who expressed a desire to return to a building administration role, will serve as the assistant principal of Big Creek Elementary School. Additional changes include Mr. Pete Carnabuci serving as the assistant principal of Brook Park Elementary School and Mrs. Trish Kukura serving as an assistant principal at Berea-Midpark High School.
