TEN YEARS OF TITANS: BEREA CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT SCHOOL SHOWCASE

titansBEREA, OH - Berea City Schools is excited to announce our “Ten Years of Titans” school showcase event at Berea-Midpark High School on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

This event will kick off a yearlong celebration marking ten years since officially becoming Titans back during the start of the 2013-14 school year. Superintendent Tracy Wheeler will discuss the district’s new strategic plan, Destination 2027, and provide an overall update on the district. The event will also include student performances and coincide with our annual district art show. It will shine the spotlight on our students, our schools, district programs and initiatives, and have some interactive activities for families.

The event is open to the entire community. Attendees will be able to enjoy the open house format of the event around the Superintendent’s scheduled presentation and performances they wish to attend. It’s an exciting re-imagination of our traditional State of the Schools event that puts more of our students and staff in the spotlight and allows the community to experience what it means to “Be a Titan.”

Titans share a collective responsibility to celebrate our three communities by honoring the district’s unique heritage. At the conclusion of the showcase event, the community is invited to attend the rededication of the Tree of Knowledge outside the Performing Arts Center at noon. Alumni, art enthusiasts, and community members contributed to the restoration and reinstallation fund for the sculpture.
