Welcome to Berea City Schools
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year, including Preschool and Kindergarten, will open on February 18, 2026.
NEW: Under HB 114, signed in December 2025, children must be five years old by the first day of instruction to enroll in kindergarten.
For the 2026–2027 school year, this means turning five on or before August 24, 2026.
Registration may be completed online or by appointment using the registration kiosk at the Berea Board of Education offices, 390 Fair Street, Berea. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 216-898-8300.
Only the custodial parent or legal guardian may officially enroll a student. The custodial parent or legal guardian must complete the application and provide all required signatures.
An active email address is required to complete registration and to receive important updates throughout the school year.

Please register NEW preK-12 students who do have siblings currently enrolled in the Berea City School District and/or Complete the Online Registration and Update (OLR Annual Update) process for new and existing students.

This form must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public.
- Owner Affidavit
This form must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public.
Complete information online (at home or at central office kiosk) and schedule an appointment to upload documents at the central office registration kiosk. If you begin registration at home, please write down your confirmation number and bring it with you in order to complete the process at the central office kiosk. This option is also recommended if you do not have an e-mail address.
